Learn how to develop and deliver engaging learning sessions about trauma-informed approaches using Research in Practice resources.
The webinar will include presentations, group activities and personal reflective time. You will hear about a range of Research in Practice resources and talk to other participants about ways they are supporting trauma-informed approaches.
This session is designed for anyone who is responsible for supporting learning and development in their organisation.
Learning outcomes
As a result of attending this workshop, you will be able to:
- Use Research in Practice resources, activities and tools to support learning sessions on trauma-informed approaches. You will be given a resource sheet as part of the session.
- Analyse and reflect on your own experiences of what makes an effective learning session on trauma-informed approaches.

Working with trauma-experienced parents in children’s social care: Video Learning Resources
This learning programme has been developed to support children’s social care practitioners working with parents who have experienced complex and/or sustained trauma. The programme is made up of 11 film chapters – each exploring a different theme and designed to be worked through in order.
