13:00 - 14:00 Tuesday, 14 October 2025

Join an open access webinar that will focus on home adaptations provided by occupational therapy services and how they impact people’s care outcomes.

This session will share key findings from one of the ConnectED project’s evidence briefings. Guest speaker Dr Phillip Whitehead from the University of York will also share new findings from the BATH-OUT study, recently launched at the House of Lords.

This is the second in our series of webinars from the ConnectED project.

The ConnectED project is funded by NIHR and aims to help professionals in adult social care make better decisions by growing their ability to use research.

The project is centred around Research Practice Partnerships (RPPs) with adult social care services, universities and people with lived experience. The RPPs take a ‘learning by doing’ approach to building the capacity of staff to find and appraise research – they have produced a series of evidence briefings in response to key questions and priorities from the practice partners.

The webinar series will highlight findings from several of the evidence briefings as well as key learning from working in an RPP approach.

This event is designed for professionals working across health and social care, including occupational therapists, physiotherapists and other allied professionals.
